who cares in an old man.
SYNOPSIS:
Mason Featherstone is sixty-two years old. He soon will be sixty-three. He meets and befriends an emotional little boy who has been an outcast in his slum neighborhood. Mason walks up on Devon Owens as he sits all alone and waits for his turn to go to school. No one likes him, no one loves him, not even his own family. Why? Because he is ugly and wants to make something of his life.
Things start happening to those around Devon, drive-by shootings, sickness, and those who are in danger of losing their lives. Devon finds a way to help. And he does. The ones that he helps, even to live again, they never stop hating him, even after saving their lives. Mason Featherstone sees Devon for who he is, a wonderful intelligent little boy that no one will give a chance’
They see his only outer self instead looking at what is on the inside of Devon’s heart. He is a caring little boy that everyone steps on, including his siblings and his own mother, Elsa Owens. After a while she is proven to be an unfit mother to Devon, and he is taken away by the Department of Children and Family Services.
Devon is attacked in the boy’s restroom at his school, over some girl, he does not know. He is fodder for the bullies and unkind insults of his schoolmates and peers. He braces himself for the rude comments and more bullying that will come his way.
Mason Featherstone becomes a foster parent to Devon just to keep him from becoming homeless and to get him away from the bullies and the insults. Devon makes another friend; her name is Amelia Spaulding. Devon doesn’t trust her, but she does turn out to be a true friend in the end.

LOGLINE:
She is a victim of domestic violence and now goes after those who are abusers of their own wives and girlfriends and puts them down. This girl carries a blowback shotgun and a butcher’s knife, that does all her talking.
SYNOPSIS:
Maxine Monroe, a victim of domestic violence decides to take up arms to rid Chicago of violent men who love to assault and beat up on innocent and helpless women in their presence. She carries a kitchen butcher’s knife and a nickel gold-plated saw-off shotgun that does all the talking. They are her best friends.
Maxine has seen enough of violence against women, and feels nothing is being done to address the ongoing epidemic. Maxine shows up at the doors of women being assaulted by an abusive husband or a boyfriend and she takes them out, in her own special way.
Special Agent Derrick Sweat is in Chicago because it is his former home. He hears about Maxine Monroe and her lawless activities and wants to give the Chicago Police a helping hand in bringing her in dead or alive.
Sweat creates a trap for Maxine Monroe that blows up in his face. She kidnaps him, takes him home, they make love and then she kicks him out. The Mayor and Commissioner wants to send Sweat back to Washington. Sweat maybe getting too emotionally involve with Maxine.
Maxine Monroe is at the home of Greta and Don Bush. The husband Don Bush is slamming and beating his wife, Greta, with fierce violence. The children are hiding in the closet as they could feel every blow of their father’s fist as it slammed into their mother’s battered face. Maxine appears in the living room of the Bushes, rips out her butcher’s knife and zig zag his unshaven windblown face. After the killing, Maxine tells Greta Bush that he will never hurt her or the children again.
Maxine Monroe enters the home of football great Preston Bartlett. Three young women in cages are dangling up high from the ceiling and at least fifty feet off the floor. Maxine takes her blowback shotgun and shoots the chains, the cages come falling hard to the floor one at a time.
She goes after the football player. A car chase ensues. He crashes and slams his vehicle into and through the walls of a crowded Target store. Maxine catches up to Preston Bartlett, on foot, and shoots him in the throat.
Derrick Sweat shows up and Maxine pops him in his right leg, and she gets away to continue to do what she does best, and that is going after abusive men.

I have recently completed a full length screenplay, spec script, entitled JESUS CHRIST VERSUS COUNT DRACULA. It sounds wild but it’s not crazy. It is serious story. I needed to write something that was fun and lots of people can relate, And I did.

Jesus Christ Versus Count Dracula

LOGLINE:
The real Jesus Christ comes back to Chicago from sitting at the right side of his father, God. He is back to grant the many prayers that he has been hearing from those crying for help. Dracula has been wreaking havoc on the city. Suddenly the Son of Man is dawned into combat with the Prince of Darkness.
SYSNOPSIS:
Jesus Christ returns to a world occupied by a vicious and cruel Count Dracula. As he is doing what he does, which is granting wishes and honoring prayers, Dracula is wreaking hell. He destroys the entire United States military. Jesus is also saving souls and bringing the dead back to life. He is feeding the hungry, repairing hearts of the meek.
Chicago Detective Cole Conrad continues to vow to kill the monster that as almost destroyed the south side of the city.
With high powered weaponry, Dracula is blown back and down onto Chicago’s Wrigley Field, in the middle of the park, where a evening baseball game is underway. The fans are stunned, some thought it was a part of some celebration. Dracula shots straight up into the skies as fans are amazed more than afraid.
Jesus Christ is attending to young children who have been shot in their heads, by gangs in high crime Chicago neighborhoods, when he is whist high up and away into the evening skies by Count Dracula.
He is smashed down into the middle of the baseball park by Count Dracula, as fans are locked into the park and forced to watch the Prince of Peace take on the Prince of Darkness. Fans watched as Jesus gets beaten to a pulp by Dracula. They can’t believe what they are seeing, but still 40,000 fans can’t leave the baseball because Dracula doesn’t want them too. He need them to watch their savior get his ass kick. God had had enough, he intervene to save his son by killing Dracula.
